I am very appreciative of all the support you have given me in representing the 45th district in Jefferson City. Further, I want to thank you for the advice and input you have provided, which is vital to help the House Democrats continue to move Missouri forward. 

Tomorrow, when we go to the polls to cast our votes in the presidential primary, we have the opportunity to embrace a new vision for our nation's future.  Throughout the primary season, there has been one candidate who has consistently spoken about the need to live in hope, not in fear - to look towards the future, not dwell on the past.

I am endorsing Barack Obama for the Democratic nomination because he has the unique ability to inspire our country and lead us into a new generation of success. 

The world has changed dramatically in just the past 10 years, and we need to elect a candidate who understands change and is prepared to embrace a new dynamic in politics.  Barack Obama is a true uniter - not only uniting Americans from all walks of life, but also uniting countries around the globe as we return America to its role as the respected leader of the free world.  We are fortunate to live in a time when we have the opportunity to support such a transformative figure.

Please join me in voting for Barack Obama tomorrow.  By standing together we have the power to set America on a new course for prosperity and preserve our proud legacy as the greatest country in the world.
